I have used many detectors over the years, just recently upgraded to the Minelab CTX 3030 last November. I usually hunt homes, in a major Metorplex in Texas, that were built before 1964. Since getting the 3030 I can say that my silver and gold finds have dramatically increased. I can probably count on one hand the times that I have gone out and not brought home some silver coins. Being that I work during the week I am limited to only hunting on Saturdays and by the time I get to the lots they have been hunted by several others. The CTX 3030 just sees things that other detectors miss. My total silver coin count for the year so far is at 197. I went to this one large lot that had been hunted by at least 6 other people and I still managed to find 3 silver coins in that one yard alone. It is just unbelievable the way my CTX 3030 finds the things that other machines and hunters miss. Out of that one lot I found a Walking Liberty Half Dollar dated 1943 S, a Standing Liberty Quarter that was worn so much that you could not get a date off of it and a Mercury dime.
Needless to say I am impressed and am glad I made the switch.
