This coin hoard was found with the X-TERRA 705 in "La Media Luna" in Jalisco, Mexico. We were following a family history about an old man who buried this cache of coins. It took us about three hours to sectorate the place and make a superficial prospection. One clue that we knew was the reference of an old tree called "Encino", so we began to identify the ones that matched. After detecting around all of them, we found nothing, so we decided to leave the place. But then I saw a very old trunk and something inside me said "This is the tree". I did the first swing with my X-TERRA 705 and register a deep nice tone, so I dig it, and there it was! A silver coin! I continue passing the coil over the place and registered multiple targets, I dug and extracted 6 more coins, then I called my friends: "Hey!!! I found it!!!" We were very happy, this was the second expedition of the year! The X-TERRA 705 do the job! 98 coins were found, from silver to copper, from 1920 to 1950. The family who invited us to search the property was very happy, I know that the kid will remember that evening for a long time, he was just laughing each time I dug a coin from the hole. One interesting thing is that many of the coins were inside a burrow, maybe the animals liked the softness of the removed soil and made it´s burrow there. The history was true, and we recover the objective of the expedition!
