I was detecting with the Minelab Equinox800 in a very trashy old home site location just north of Winchester, VA. This was the route that Stonewall Jackson lead his troops to the Battle of Hancock, MD in 1862 during the Civil War. The Equinox800 was able to discriminate between all the nails in the ground. Because of the amazing recovery speed of this machine I was able to pinpoint this awesome piece of history. Its not every day that this type of item is found.
