While on a group hunt for civil war relics outside of Jeffersonton, VA I was using my GPX 4500 and got a nice loud signal. I was in a stubble field a top of a small rise, I opened the home and about 10” down I seen the edge of something round, but too large to be a coin. After carefully digging around it, I pulled out my very first breastplate.
