I was detecting in Essex used my equinox 800 when I had a signal that registered 20 -24 on the screen on investigation it was found to be a Civil War cannon ball dated 1640 had to stop detecting as we had a thunderstorm so had to stop detecting after I got home and cleaning my find and doing some investigation on the internet I found out what I found so the day was not a complete washout
