I first saw the EQUINOX detector at Relic show in Corinth, Ms. I was completely happy with the unit I was currently using but after listening to Minelab dealer I decided to try the Equinox 600. I was a little concerned about the Minelab 600 being able to pick up the small silver earrings. From the pictures you can see I need not have worried. It's a very light unit and for an 80 year old coot like me that's a plus. Finds were made on private property with permission granted and no burial sites touched. I’ve been detecting since mid-1960 and have owned many detectors and have found good stuff with all of them. The EQUINOX 600 meets the detecting needs for me.
