I've had many Minelab over my 30 plus years, on arable land and beaches including the surf. However the Equinox 800 to me is a game changer without a doubt. It has opened up old pasture sites that had been dormant and hard going (See my article in this month’s Searcher article) Pictured here is a stunning "Dobunic" Gold Stater of Corio. 20 BC-20 AD. Found on arable land at 10 inches, with the Mighty Nox. Ground Balance 0. Multi Freq. 2 Tone. Recovery 4. Fer 3. This machine is attached to my right arm several times a week. I will hope to try out a large coil for my medieval pasture sites and write part 2 of my article.
