Hello my name is adam I am a american prospector that travels coast to coast mining gold. Recently I spent 2 weeks in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the heart of the orginal gold strike of California. This is my fourth year mining in the state but this year was much different I went well prepared with a GPX5000 & GM1000. I hit one good target with the gold monster in a mountain top ancient riverbed by a claim post from the 1800s I picked up a 1890 silver seated liberty dime. With the GPX5000 on my first day using the machine I found a crystalline 1.73 gram nugget Absolutely beautiful character. But the all time best find of the trip and of my prospecting career came on the last day. I arrived at a private claim just at sunrise we walked out into old workings tailings piles all around mixed with rough broken quartz and river gravel also. I had a low high target on the edge of the bank. It was around 13 inches down I pulled out a 38 gram specimen after specific gravity testing it yields 31.132 grams of gold truly a beautiful piece of ore. Gpx5000 mono coil
