I found these two silver denarii of the emperor Commodus and Faustina Senior in the basilica of Hippos. These coins were found at the base of a large column at a depth of 12 inches. This was important because this area was "hunted out" during multiple years of detecting. In total, I found over 35 coins in the Basillica that other detectors had missed.
