A few weeks back whilst detecting a field I found a small Bronze Age axe head - this was my first major find with my CTX 3030. I had been waiting for the crop to be lifted so I could return and explore beyond the tractor paths.
The photo is of what I thought be a fragment of a Bronze Age axe head.
Thank you to all the team at Minelab, the artefact is now in our local museum being recorded and I am a very happy chap!
