I was digging at my 1850’s ghost town permission in Northwest Missouri when I stumbled across a scratchy 27-28 signal. The depth indicator was showing 5 bars on my Equinox so I knew it had to be something good. After flipping the plug, I re-checked the hole with my detector and the signal improved to a 30-31 signal. Almost 10” down, out pops an 1861 Seated Liberty Quarter. This is the first seated quarter that I have ever found. It’s not every day you see one of these pop out of the ground. Loving this machine! Thanks Minelab!
