I took the day off of work as it's the first day of Buck Season (antlered deer) here in western PA. I decided to stay out of the woods because hunting season is a lot shorter than our detecting season in this part of the country. I spent a couple of days prior finding nothing but clad and some horse tack. This was not the case today. I headed to a local park for a few hours. My first target sounded so good, I knew it was big silver. Sure enough, it was my first Walking Liberty half dollar. I was shaking after seeing that much silver. About 20 minutes later, I get a very iffy signal but, I decided to dig and was rewarded with a Sterling + 10k gold ring. My last keeper and icing on the cake was a silver Rosie. This was my most successful hunt in a very long time and the first time I had a multiple silver day; and first silver and gold day. I couldn't be happier.
