Was invited by some new friends who searched a lot on a field where spectacular things were found by them. We were late and they thought they'd emptied the field but I hit an iffy signal and decided to dig. The most beautiful piece turned up. A silver with gold gilded hatpin or hat hook. Not really sure how old since these pieces can be from the middle ages till the 19 century. The biggest guess is 1475-1575. Owned the EQUINOX 800 for two months at that time and found more silver dimes and rings in that time then with another detector but this is my first really cool find with the EQUINOX. I love the EQUINOX. It is my third metal detector within 7 months since I started and this one stays.
