I took the E-TRAC out for a walk Sunday to a farm I have been detecting over 12 years and before me, it was a club site for 15 years, this field I was on was the 2nd worst field to detect on so I stopped going to it 5 years ago.
The farm manager gave me a call to let me know there was an area 150 yards long by 30 yards wide that I could detect if I wanted to.....with no land detectable at the moment I said yes and was in the car to make the 110 mile round trip asap.
When I saw what field it was my head sank...what a waste of time this will be... out with the E-TRAC and 15x12 sef and... musket ball, hammered silver, strap-end, medieval leather fittings, spindle whorl, and other bits... the field is 6 acres and is being de cropped this week!!!!
