While hunting a local park near a band of big trees the Vanquish 540 had a sold 22 on the VDI’s After retrieving a 1906 UK penny, I run the Vanquish over the hole to get a solid 28-29. Down another couple of inches I got a stunning 1935 NZ half crown. I then thought that’s it and tipped the soil back in from the plug cloth, running the Vanquish 540 over the hole one last time before moving on I picked up another solid 29-30. Opening up the hole again and digging under the root system, i pulled another UK penny followed by three NZ pennies and two NZ silver 3d’s. Made my day find such an amazing coin spill with such beautiful coins hidden within the tree roots.
