Heading away on a Detecting holiday through Nsw I never dreamed of uncovering a rare Australian Silver Coin. Under a tree in an old park I flicked my coil around the shaded area on the grass. Suddenly a solid 37 rang up on the Equinox! I dug a small plug and up popped the biggest silver coin minted in Australia. A 1937 Silver Crown. I screamed so loud my partner thought I had stepped on a snake! Top of my bucket list ticked off and one very happy detectorist!
