I’m a Minelab dealer in Japan and took a Vanquish 340 out to get acquainted with it the first good weather we had. We managed 30 minutes on Friday, 90 minutes on Sunday, and 120 minutes on the following Saturday. The park we worked is only 40 years old, so there are only modern clad coins, but we got 8 coins and a dog tag on Friay, 35 coins on Sunday, and 46 coins and another dog tag on Saturday. We averaged less than 3 minutes per coin hunting time. 340 doesn't have Pinpoint, but my wife came along with a Pro Find 35. A lady walking her dog told us the town festival is held there every Summer. Lots of coins dropped. We could tell where the stall selling canned drinks was as there were more pull tabs than coins in that area which we did not dig. The 340 discriminated them all out very nicely. Great separation of targets, too. Very solid ID numbers. My wife says we have to go back to that park once more to get 11 more coins to make it an even 100. No problem!
