Went down to one of my favorite metal detecting beaches, in southern California. I mostly search the wet sand, using a Whites PI machine, which I can knock out some of the iron, some of the time no big deal fairly clean beach.
Other times a lot more shows up, So recently i had bought my first Minelab Machine (Sovereign GT), I had heard a lot of good things about it, knocks out the junk, works great.
I normally bring down two machines, to try to best match where I search, I had tried out the Sovereign GT a couple of times for a short time, Likening it, learning it. So I start off with my favorite PI machine, start digging a lot of iron, hadn't found anything, not even a penny, so I thought good time to try the Sovereign GT.
Back to the car, Start off searching, so far a dime some pennies, a quarter, but no junk, Fantastic! Then a hit, gold band. Thank you Lord, thank you Minelab! Another hit silver earring, another Hit large pink stone on Gold 14K Gold ring, some more coins and another ring.
Now the rest of the machines, sit. The Sovereign GT is #1. The more I use it the more I love It! What a Great product, Thank You Minelab!
