Slipping out the door and grabbing a quick hours detecting after work before the darkness fell was a great choice that I made. Only half hour in I got a lovely signal registering around 15 on my nox 800 and without the need to pinpoint I could see the glintting yellow in the clod.. it was a beautifull rare medieval gold circa 1350's turretted brooch. The type of thing we only ever dream of finding and only ever see in books and magazines. The rest is all a blurr 👍 happy hunting folks..
