I am a long time user of Minelab devices and so far I have worked with many devices but mostly with CTX 3030. After some time I managed to get in possession of GPX 5000 devices, I've always wanted to try it. The exit was on the terrain that had been searched for years by the CTX3030 and dozens of other devices ... I have GPX on the recommended settings and go look for it. After a few minutes I get a crystal tone but silence. I dig almost 10 inches below rock and earth and went out with a beautiful Celtic bronze arrow, I could not hide happiness. I'm thinking of going to the part of the field where I was in Roman things. After excavating several coins I get a clear tone but the same deep terrain full of stones tells me that it has to be something bigger because I've already gone through the depth of 15 inches. At 20 inches I find a beautiful statue of god pan. The euphoria was so much like I first bought a detector after such a trip the GPX 5000 deserved to be my first detector in the set ... the device is an amazing real monster, after I have tried this device every other detector seems like a child's toy.
