I have been reading "Success Stories" on this site since I bought my Excalibur almost 3 years ago.
Since then I have found hundreds of rings and thousands of coins on many different beaches using this machine in both sand & water. I thought several times about posting some story but didn't want to show off without showing something funny.
I once found a hole bag of fake watches (14 in total) under the water, but decided to post something made of gold or at least valuable, so decided to wait.
I saw somebody posting a story about finding 2 same silver rings in a school playground, and decided to show that stranger things happen:
I was detecting on a beach I hadn't hunted for over a year. I found many coins, some silver, 9 18k gold (3 with diamonds and a big class ring) and an 8.8g platinum engagement ring. But the most amazing thing is that 2 of the 9 gold rings were from the same couple! They had both lost their wedding rings!
So if somebody knows Ana & Ricardo who got married on the 30th of September 2006 and once went to Menorca and lost their wedding rings on the Biniancolla beach, tell them that their rings are in good hands! (and that they can come and pick them up whenever they want.. )
