I went to a field which had just been stubble in Belgium with my faithful companion Sokrat who adores coming to detect with me. It was a gray, sometimes rainy day. I had a clue at 12 which was about 25cm into the ground. After digging I took out this little item, I didn't know what it was. It turns out to be a rare 17th century bronze collar tie! In 1 hour of time I had a lot of finds! Today this collar tie has gone to a local museum that studies the life of the region in the past!
