What are the common points between this coin dating from 1920 and this ring belonging to a young girl? Cat got your tongue?
First they were both found very deeply with CTX 3030 and secondly this ring was made with this kind of bronze - aluminum coin. The technique involves drilling a hole in the coin and then using a conical tool coming distort and enlarge the hole. The finishing is made with a file. It is an economical way for making a ring. It is a period ring and I found it on the towpath near a canal.
