Well the story starts on a not very warm day in the Forest of Dean, England when me and my two children decide a day's detecting was in order. Kitting them out in winter gear (yes it's summer here) we entered the field. A few cans found by the kids and a few Victoria pennies the kids where losing heart.
A silly game of I spy broke out followed by a game of jump the cow pat. Now I'm a keen photographer and after spending two minutes setting the camera to take a wonderful landscape pic, I watched my two run off and jump a gate they were shouting "Dad look out I turned to see a cow running over the field towards us picking camera, detector, shovel bag I ran for my life clearing the fence and land on my rear the kids laughing their heads off causing hiccups all over the place.
I turned my Minelab X-TERRA 70 back on with the kids still doing funny impressions of me falling over. I chased them with the detector where I had a very prominent beep 28 flashed up so my two started digging after digging deep out popped a Henry 8th 2nd coinage groat the walk home around the cow field was a quick one with me trying to teach the Henry 8th song.
