I love my Safari! This week I visited a farm which has been allowing metal detecting for over 30 years. You would think that after this period of time and with so many detectorists there would be little to find and true enough the finds were few and far between. However my Safari managed to pick up a signal from approx 12 inches deep and when I dug it up .... a gold coin .... an 1892 gold half sovereign to be exact.
