A Bit of the Yellow Stuff

22 Dec 2015

My day started the same as every other with the thoughts of what am going to find today. Been told the field I go on as been done to death but hey I no my E-TRAC and I no its never let me down before on land that's meant to have been done over and over again plus the field next to this one I got two Hammys of Henry 111 the week before and a Saxon Pendant so all I can say not so done to death those fields.

Well I turned my machine on and did the look around the field to see were I'm going to start so did my noise cancelling and just moved the coil to the left and Boooom a cracking sound I literally didn't take a step and if I'm honest I thought its going to be a ring pull as I ain't that lucky to find anything that quick. So I started to dig my hole and as lifted the soil out I got a glimpse of something it looked gold at this point instead of thinking I'm not that lucky I was saying it aloud to myself; I got a handful of soil in my hand and there it was I was lucky and believe me I've heard people say there hands shake when they find gold but me my legs went like jelly and had to lean on my spade it was like all my energy had gone from my legs.

I could believe I had found a 12th -14th century medieval gold ring I no the picture isn't perfect but it was the first one I took. So thank you Minelab for the E-TRAC and to those people who said that field was all done then maybe they should ask Santa for a E-TRAC this Christmas :-)
