Was out detecting one of our privet permission a couple weeks ago. Got a nice solid 22 on my EQUINOX 800. Thinking it was a penny, I was hesitant to dig it up. Anyways I decided to thinking I can add to my penny jar. Boy was I glad I did, out popped a beautiful 1831 capped bust half dime!!! My first 1800s coin and first half dime!! I was beyond thrilled with the find. As I thought it couldn’t get better, was hunting another privet permission less than a week later. I had only been on location maybe 20 minutes when I got a really strong 32/34 signal on my EQUINOX 800. Silver quarter!!! Atleast that's what it thought. I began to dig. At about 6 inches, I didn’t get any indication of my pinpointer, so I dug deeper. At about 10 inches is when I see the back of what I thought was a barber dime. I called my buddy over to look. I let him flip it over and boommmm, 1918 O seated dime!!! Key date at that. I dug the 2 really awesome coins in less than a week apart. This has been the best month ever in 7 years of detecting for me with these to coins :) thanks and happy hunting
