July 31st i got a message from my friend and Fellow Ring Finder Dennis Burligame about a lost ring he attempted to recover but was not able to. He asked me if i would give it a try also knowing i was going to head out that night. Of course i will i told him. He sent me a photo of the area the owner (Nick) had sent to him showing where he was when it was lost. Going by that photo and the time of day it was lost (High tide) I waited until the early Am low tide so i could cover a broader area.Using my minelab Equinox 800 I started my grid up high where it was lost and slowly worked my way down the wet sand slope as close to the water as possible. In a little over and hour i found it close to the water's edge about 10-12" deep! The surf had dragged it down the beach and buried it good. Needless to say Nick was very happy when he received a picture of his ring via text and was very thankful to get it back. Another great ending!
