After using another brand for the last few years, I bought an Equinox 800 through Dixie Metal Detectors. I went to a farm field that I have detected several times in the past and found many Civil War relics. There is a heavy iron area that must have been an old barn that is long gone, but the iron concentration is high. I had heard that the Nox 800 was really good in heavy iron, and the first high tone that I hit in this iron field was a 1783 One Reale, literally the first hole I dug with the 800. I followed that up with several CW bullets and a flat button, but it was a special 2-hour hunt!
