I was metal detecting a cornfield on an old site. I was using the Equinox 800 in a modified Field 2 program that I developed. I had the 6" coil on to work between the corn stubble, and got a nice smooth 27 signal. I dug a plug and saw a bright silver disk gleaming up at me, and immediately saw the face of King Carlos of Spain! I pulled it out of the hole, and saw that jt sas a nice 1784 Half Reale!
