I found the small beach close to home it was about a 2 mile hike to it unknown to me that it had never been hunted before. The first day I hunted it I got a date was Buffalo in 1883V nickel and a handful of silver dimes Mercury’s and Roosevelts and a no date buffalo. The second day I went back I had a 1941 Mercury dime then three wheats in a row And then another no date buffalo, As I was walking along the beach I figured there had to be old silver here well I wouldn’t be disappointed when my equinox 800 sound it off with a 24–25 I thought a clad Roosevelt ?Or a warrant silver dime boy was I wrong when I saw the two pillars come out of the sand! It was a two Reale 1776! In beautiful condition except for being much oxidized that made my day!!!
