Yesterday I took my equinox 800 to some town owned property in a historic district of the town I work in during my lunch hour. I've found a few bale seals and buttons here before, along with a Mercury dime. I wanted to try to use the Neil Jones Beach to land settings. My very first target was just a whisper, and bouncing between 24 to 28. After flipping over the plug, I was in shock! There was a 1768 Carlos III 1 reale staring back at me! Ever since I started detecting I've dreamed of finding Spanish silver, and thanks to the equinox 800, I can scratch off another bucket lister.
