March in New Jersey is a storm time here. Headed to the beach with me CTX 3030. Found a 5-block area of cut dunes. Starting from the top of the cut, I started digging copper coins. Thinking they, were copper slugs just put in my pouch until one with a face and a date came out of the hole. I was amazed. It was dated 1760! Kept digging. King George 11 and George 111 copper coins. Few others too. Some toasted. Amazing day on the beach!
