I don’t have 1 find of the month entry, but 2!! On 4 /12/19 I was hunting one of mine and my buddies Jamie private permissions. I had been hunting for a couple hours when I got a signal on my EQUINOX 800. It rang up a solid 22. Thinking I was digging a penny or a copper game token, I was in awww when I looked down and seen this tiny coin!! It was an 1831 capped bust half dime!! This was unbelievable that I dug it as I hadn't dug any coins from the 1800s in 7 years of detecting. On 4 /18/19 , was out detecting with Jamie again at another privet location in mobile ala. Had been detecting all of 30 minutes when I got a really strong 32/34 signal on my EQUINOX 800!!! Thinking what i would assume to be a silver quarter, I was excited. I dug down about 6 inches and did not get a signal on my pin pointer. I dug out another 4 inches and finally got a signal on the pinpointer and brought it up out of the ground. I see it was silver and a dime!!! I called Jamie over to look at it. At first i told him I think I have a merc lol then I noticed the back of the dime after we sprayed it with some water. I figured a barber dime. Boy was I wrong. I flipped it over and bam, it was a 1838 O seated dime!! Not just any seated, but a key date!!! 2 1800s coins a week apart and very valuable :) never in my life I thought I'd find one of them. Not only did I find one, I found 2 in the same week!!!!
