Minelab Electronics (Technology Park, SA) hosted a visit from Hon Christopher Pyne MP (Minister for Defence Industry) and Steven Marshall (South Australia Liberal Leader) on Wednesday 19th April 2017.
The visit included a tour of Minelab’s state-of-the-art facilities, product demonstrations and discussions on Codan Defence Electronics’ current work with Defence Prime contractors to deliver quality in-country design, manufacture and support of complex defence electronics.
Minelab Electronics is a Codan limited company that has developed its unique and patented metal detector technology for application in humanitarian demining, UXO clearance and countermine operations in places such as Afghanistan, Africa and South America.
In the picture, Minister Pyne and Steven Marshall are holding Minelab’s F3 Compact landmine detector with Codan’s CEO Donald McGurk.
The F3 Compact detector is constructed from impact resistant materials and designed to survive in any operating environment. It is capable of discovering all metal and minimum metal mines at full sensitivity regardless of the mineralised content of soil.
